I’m still a little over a month behind in my blog reading. ::sigh:: I really just need a solid block of time to get caught up. Maybe tomorrow. In the meantime, I have a whole stash of things to share.
This sandwich is right up my husband’s alley. Given the opportunity, he puts coleslaw on pretty much anything. And spicy slaw? Even better.
It seems like most of the bags out there that are designed for electronics are also super expensive. This creates a problem if you’re like me and want to change it up every few months. The option to make my own didn’t even occur to me until recently.
I have been loving salads this summer. Easy, fresh, and usually plenty of protein which keeps me from being crabby. Cobb salad as always been one of my favorites, so I squeed a little when I saw this lightened up, Mexican version of one on Skinnytaste. And the presentation? Awesome.
You know how I mentioned that I need a new laptop bag every three months? Well, I change what I carry my crochet supplies around in almost daily. I just haven’t ever found something I LOVE. I have high hopes for this tote, though.
I’m fairly inexperienced with slow cookery (is that a term?), but I’m always curious when I come across these recipes. This is one I’d for sure like to try because Joey LOVES anything with pasta in it and it seems like a good way to sneak some extra veggies into his dinner.
I’ve been planning to try to stick with handmade as much as possible for this Christmas and this idea is perfect for all my cousins’ little kids. I especially love the idea of using scraps because I certainly have plenty of those laying around the house.
Rolos were always my favorite candy growing up. On the rare occasions that I got my hands on a package of them, they would usually last me a week or more because I always felt like they were an eat-just-one-at-a-time kind of candy. Something tells me these brownies wouldn’t make it a whole week around here.
I have a confession. I haven’t made quilts for either of my boys even though it’s something a regularly do when friends or family have babies. My husband reminds me of this pretty regularly, but I just haven’t come across “the” thing. This tutorial may be perfect for just such a project.

My husband loves Dr. Pepper. He even has a ratty old Dr. Pepper sweatshirt that he insists on wearing from time to time because he just can’t bear to part with it. He loves Dr. Pepper THAT much. So when I saw this recipe, I knew I needed to stash it away for future reference.
I am still obsessed with skirt this week, in case you were wondering. This one looks super comfy and makes me want to spend a day at the beach with a good book. I’m not sure why that’s what I’d do in this skirt, but there it is.
I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend! I can’t believe it’s half over already.
