Meet BO.LT

BO.LT is a {new to me} way of organizing my internet brain. It combines features I love most from other websites.

By typing “bo.lt/” in front of any address in my browser, I can save a web page for future reference .

Everything you need to organize your BO.LTs appears on one screen.

Then you get options for sharing.

A copy is made of the entire web page, including functionality, so when you go back and look at it later it will still be there {unlike this pin which gives you this result}. Somehow, hit counts are even preserved in the process.

BO.LT is also a growing community. Some of my favorite discoveries so far:

In my sidebar, you can see my recent BO.LTs via this handy widget generator. I’d eventually like to see an easy way to embed these widgets and single BO.LTS into blog posts.

There are a handful of other things BO.LT can do {editing BO.LTed pages, for one} that I have yet to play with but I’m sure I’ll find a use for them eventually.

If you’re using BO.LT, I’d love to know how. If you want to check it out, I’ll send you an invite.
