QUICK NOTE: I’m giving the blog a bit of a facelift so forgive me if it looks a bit wonky for the next few days. I’m hoping to have it all prettied up by early next week.

I’m happy to say that Week 3 treated most participants of the New Year, New You challenge a whole lot better than Week 2 did.
Week 3 Overall Loss = 33 pounds
Total lost to date = 217.5 pounds
Percentage of weight lost after 3 weeks = 2.29%
Aren’t those numbers awesome? I think it was a rough week for some {birthdays, illness, general sense of the blahs}, but others definitely stepped it up.
MY numbers were less than stellar for last week. I could give you 82 excuses but {like Randi said} this is the NO EXCUSES challenge so I won’t get into them.
My plan for the first half of this week is basically just to survive. We – three boys, my Gram, Sal and I – leave mid-day tomorrow for a road trip to Arizona. No telling what that will bring in terms of food and drink, but whatever it is will be okay.
Starting Monday, I will be joining my friend Renee in a Whole30 Challenge. Between January 28 and February 26 I’m pledging to eat clean and purely Paleo. I think it might a little tough considering how off track I’ve gotten, but I’m up for it.

You’re a great cheerleader for me so I’ll do the same for you. I would LOVE to see those numbers on my scale and frankly I think you’re doing great. My scale only rounds to the nearest half pound so I’m jealous of your scale. Good luck and keep up the good work!
