I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s the midpoint of the NEW YEAR, NO EXCUSES challenge. How have 4 weeks already gone by in 2013? Yikes!
Anyway, I’m happy to report that {although we’ve lost a challenger or two} most participants are still rocking the scale. We aren’t seeing the ginormous numbers that we saw in the first week, but weight loss still seems to be slow and steady – and isn’t that the kind that lasts?
Here’s the scoop on this week:
Number of Participants with 5+ Pounds Lost = 23
Number of Participants with 10+ Pounds Lost = 7
Total Pounds Lost This Week = 24.5
Four Week Total of Pounds Lost = 238.3
Percentage of Weight Lost = 2.65%
Awesome, right? I’m so, so proud of this group of ladies and can’t wait to see what the next 4 weeks brings.
As for my personal journey? It’s kind of what I said last week. This past weekend just was what it was and I’m okay with that. This week will be better. And, really, I only gained .2 pounds so I must have been doing something right.

I said last week that I’m jumping back on the clean eating train and, man, am I ready. I have been feeling pretty icky for the last couple of weeks {thanks to eating crap, no doubt} so bring on the protein and veggies, week 5!!
